Earlier this month, I was in Ireland, visiting the Christians there in Galway and North County Clare. It was my first time to Ireland, so I was often distracted by the beauty of the place. Some folks from my church and I went to Ireland to encourage the church there and to experience what it is to be a bible-believing Christian today in Ireland.
This post will be dedicated to New Hope Calvary Chapel, a newly planted church (little over a year) in Galway, Ireland. The church is pastored by Jess McCurnin, a vibrant, God-loving husband and father of four.
Jess and his wife, Rebecca, have a heart to plant churches in Ireland and around Europe as God would allow and in God’s timing. In addition to being the Pastor of the church which is now meeting its own space in Galway just minutes by car from center city, Jess is the worship leader. We had a lovely time encouraging and ministering with the church at New Hope.
If you are ever in Galway, be sure to look them up.
Wish I were there. What an honor it must have been to be able to encourage and minister to churches around the world. So happy you were able to experience such a glorious trip.
