Read Leviticus 11
1. What distinction is made in verses 3 and 4 of Leviticus 11 between the animals the Hebrews could eat and those which God forbade them to eat?

2. Give 3 examples of animals that may be eaten. Give 3 examples of animals that may not be eaten.

3. What creatures may be eaten in the water? Which may not be eaten?

4. What insects were the Jews allowed to eat?
