3. What is the only piece of furniture found in the Most Holy Place? Of what metal was it crafted?

Read Exodus 31
4. What does God tell Moses about Bezalel, the son of Uria? Of what tribe was Bezalel?

5. Who was going to work with Bezalel?

6. What reminder about the Sabbath does God give Moses for the people?

7. What happens at the end of Chapter 31?

Chapter 32
8. While Moses was gone, what was going on in the camp? Why?

9. What was Aaron’s part in the events which occurred?

10 What does God tell Moses in Exodus 32:7-8?

11. What does God want to do to the people in verse 9 of Exodus 32?

12. How does Moses respond to God? What/who does he ask God to remember?

13. Remembering what God has done and recounting it back to Him in prayer is a very common prayer format in the Bible. Can you find an example?

14. What was Moses carrying down from the mountain in Exodus 32? Who was with him?

15. What do Moses and Joshua hear as they come down the mountain?

16. What is Moses response to seeing the calf and the people dancing?

17. What do you learn from the following verses about anger?

18. Explain the conversation between Moses and Aaron. What is your impression of Aaron?

Note: As believers we want to be thermostats rather than thermometers. That is to say that we want to affect the “temperature” of the environment we are in rather than merely reflecting it.

19. Moses’ remedy is outlined in Exodus 32:25-30. What does he do that day? The next day?

20. In Exodus 32:31-32, we have Moses prayer for the people. What does he ask God to do? What is God’s response?

21. What do you learn from the following verses about God (the LORD)?
